As from October 2016, HortiMaX has appointed Ekrem Karaçalı as its country manager for the Turkish market. This appointment will strengthen HortiMaX's position in Turkey. Together with Haluk Atamal, this market will now benefit from more local support. Ekrem Karaçalı was also present at the GrowTech Eurasia.
Exploring the possibilities of technology
HortiMaX's new face on the Turkish market is Ekrem Karaçalı. Ekrem emigrated to Turkey when he was 30 and has the advantage that he not only speaks fluent Turkish, but is also of Dutch origin. His knowledge and expertise lies in successfully applying technology that is available on the market. Ekrem: "Over the past few years I have made important contributions to the development of projects, such as Tuğtekin çiçekcilik, Agrobay and AMT tarım Tuğtekin. I worked with various parties on those projects. I guess you could say I specialized in the combination of energy and glasshouse projects. By that I mean projects that were based on using waste heat from biomass and co-generation plants. I sat down with investors and growers to discuss the issues and find solutions. "
Clear focus
Haluk Atamal also represents HortiMaX on the Turkish market. The division of tasks between both parties is clear: "We complement each other. By generating sales, partners such as Haluk Atamal are able to help more growers. Both parties listen to the needs of the market. While Haluk Atamal focuses more on projects and local after sales support, I'm more involved in pre-sales support and identifying the needs of projects and how to use technology in those projects. My cooperation with Haluk and the HortiMaX organization is very promising and will be the basis for success. My focus will be on HortiMaX products and on the provinces of Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Izmir, Manisa, Bursa, Aydına, Kütahya en Yalova.”
GrowTech Eurasia
If you like to meet Ekrem Karaçalı, he will be joining Haluk Atamal's stand at the GrowTech (stand number 611).
