Bioline AgroSciences acquires Certirol from Certis Europe

On November 15th Bioline AgroSciences, a subsidiary of InVivo Agriculture, signed a deal to acquire the Certirol product, IP and manufacturing from Certis Europe.

This acquisition adds the Certirol product to Bioline’s portfolio and represents the culmination of a significant year for the company. In March 2016, Bioline was acquired by InVivo Agriculture and has since joined forces with their existing biosolutions subsidiary, Biotop, to launch Bioline AgroSciences as a global player in the Biosolutions market. The acquisition of the Certirol business is a representation of InVivo’s strategic commitment to significantly building capacity and strengthening its position in biosolutions.

Martin Zuijderwijk, Commercial Director of Bioline Agrosciences, said, “The Certirol product offers a valuable addition to the Bioline portfolio, giving an immediate benefit to our thrips control offering, whilst also providing exciting opportunities for future developments”.

The deal has been signed and is expected to close on December 1st 2016. Current or potential users of the Certirol product can contact representatives of Bioline AgroSciences to discuss availability and opportunities for the future.
