At Fruit Logistica 2017 Hazera will be confirming its presence as collaborating partner in the fresh produce supply chain. The vegetable seed company will again be presenting new products, ideas and opportunities for partnerships at one of the biggest events in the fresh produce business, held from February 8th to February 10th in the Messe exhibition center in Berlin, Germany.
Hazera’s focus is to create products that respond to particular needs and that open growth opportunities through long-term cooperation with growers, processors, traders, retailers and any other possible downstream partners.
Hazera is part of Limagrain, the 4th largest seed company in the world, created and managed by its 2000 farmer shareholders. The company already has a well-filled portfolio of successful partnerships based on its varieties. Hazera’s partnering initiatives sprouted up from fertile grounds on several continents, and in most cases have an international scope. Seedless mini watermelons for example are now available year round and worldwide, thanks to concertation between a number of partners from different regions in the world. The same goes for Hazera’s onion varieties that have enabled its partners to ensure year round supply at a global scale.
At Fruit Logistica, visitors will find a complete range of vegetable crops from which the latest innovative varieties will be on show. Cabbice for example, a white cabbage variety, is now found on numerous supermarket shelves worldwide. Another success story is Goutine, the unique full size tomato with its distinctive taste and attractive appearance, that will be offered to visitors.
To find out more, industry professionals are invited to share thoughts and ideas at the occasion of Fruit Logistica 2017. For further information please visit Hazera at stand C-23 in hall 3.2.
