Ellepot introduces low-cost tray assortment

Ellepot is launching a new low-cost propagation tray assortment of 11 new trays specially developed for the Ellepot system.

For more than 20 years, Ellepot trays have been an essential part of the Ellepot System. The know-how and experience in developing Ellepot trays specially for the Ellepot system have resulted in today’s wide assortment of more than 80 different trays.

The new assortment, introduced under the new concept ACT, has been designed, created and tested in collaboration with customers around the world. The main goal for the concept is to create the optimal ventilation & drainage when propagating young plants in Ellepot.

The Air Circulation Trays comes with various features and options:
  • Optimized air ventilation and drainage holes that also allow the use of push-out plates
  • Easy to stack and seperate
  • Available in different materials such as PS and ABS (on request)
  • Surface coatings include glossy or mat effect
  • Available in white materials for better light reflection (on request)
  • Suitable for automation and transplantation
CEO Lars Steen Pedersen explains: “We know that the tray market is very tight, and there is a lot of competition. However, we’ve optimized the functionality and design of our new assortment to get the most out of the Ellepot System. This means that with this new technology and concept, we will be able to supply customers with even more options to create a superior rooting with the Ellepot System. Furthermore we are very proud to introduce 11 new trays to our customers all at once! We are ready to take on the market.”
