NatureSweet debuts new Tomatoes Raised Right Campaign at PMA

NatureSweet Tomatoes will debut its new Tomatoes Raised Right campaign at the upcoming Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Fresh Summit Convention and Expo held in Orlando from October 14-16, 2016. The company will also introduce new packaging options for two if its brands.

The campaign highlights the many benefits of NatureSweet and its tomatoes – from sustainable greenhouse growing practices to the numerous contributions of the company’s 8,000 full-time associates who plant, nurture, hand-pick and package each tomato.

“Our new Tomatoes Raised Right campaign tells the unique story of how we are invested in growing our tomatoes from start to finish,” said Michael Joergensen, vice president of marketing. “Raising something right doesn’t happen in a day, so NatureSweet is vertically integrated, controlling everything from seed to shelf so families can enjoy our great-tasting tomatoes year-round.”

As for the new items, NatureSweet Tomatoes will be showcasing Cherubs®, the No. 1 small tomato in the United States, which is now available in a convenient 18-ounce package along with a 16.5-ounce package size of its Constellation medley pack of tomatoes.

Also on display will be the company’s Cherubs Tomatoes in limited-edition PINK packaging which will be in-store from September 26, 2016 through November 5, 2016. As an avid promoter of a healthy diet and active lifestyle, NatureSweet Tomatoes is proud to partner with Susan G. Komen for the fifth year in a row to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, NatureSweet Tomatoes will donate $100,000 to Susan G. Komen regardless of sales, bringing the company’s total donation to $355,000 since 2012.
