US: Tomato grower-shipper now Eleven Rivers certified
Sunripe Certified Brands is proud to announce that one of its key growers, Agroex, is now officially certified by Eleven Rivers Growers. As a result, all vine ripe, round, and Roma tomatoes grown in Mexico, and marketed by Sunripe Certified Brands, are 100% covered by the Eleven Rivers Growers program – extending the brand’s commitment to food safety, social responsibility, sustainability, quality, and reliability.
“The Pablos family has long been a leader in quality, food safety, sustainability, and social responsibility,” said Jon Esformes, CEO of Sunripe Certified Brands. “We, at Sunripe Certified Brands, are honored to represent their fresh produce.”
The brand’s dedication to quality and safety was recently highlighted on NPR radio, where Esformes addressed, not only the need for certifications like the ones earned by Eleven Rivers Growers, but also for the Fair Food program, which seeks to ensure healthy, safe, and fair working environments for all farm workers.
Sunripe Certified Brands will be at booth #3611 at PMA Fresh Summit, Oct. 14-16. To schedule an appointment, please email Lyle Bagley at [email protected].
