From September 24-27, Jordan exported 7,411 tons of stone fruits and vegetables to Gulf Arab countries, including 4,986 tons of tomato, according to Media Spokesperson of the Agriculture Ministry, Nimir Haddadin.
He said that this amount did not negatively affect the prices of tomatoes in the Kingdom, and the Central market in Amman especially was provided with enough quantities to meet the needs of citizens.
These exports, Haddadin said, will support the national economy and reflect positively on farmers.
