Hong Kong: Organic seeds provide food for discussion at Asia Fruit Logistica

Once again the Asia Fruit Logistica is looking to be a successful trade fair for Enza Zaden. Enza Zaden has been present at this event in Hong Kong from the start and observes growing interest. The exhibition attracts many visitors from all over the world. “We meet a lot of potential partners, from grower/traders to retail chains, at our booth,” says booth manager Young Han, area manager North-East Asia in Enza Zaden Export team.

Food for discussion
Enza Zaden’s focus on organic seeds gives a lot of ‘food’ for discussion. Han: “We see the organic market is growing, fast, all over the world. For Enza Zaden the growth in organic vegetable seed sales is essential. More and more growers and retailers are interested in organic products. Our organic subsidiary, Vitalis, breeds and produces exclusively organic vegetable seeds that are suitable for organic growers. Especially here in Asia this market is booming, so people come by to talk to us about this trend and the possibilities we have to offer.”

And that these organic products also taste good is being proven by the chef at the Enza Zaden booth. He makes delicious bites with all the different fresh organic products displayed at the booth.
