Construction at CombiVliet’s new location in Middenmeer-North, Holland, is steadily progressing. It’s now only one week before they can begin planting the new crop in greenhouse phase 4. Most construction partners have completed their work in the greenhouse.
Like all previous years, the company Hofman in Maasdijk again realized the sanitary installations in the greenhouse. "This year Siem has really done his best!"
The HT heating circuits in the greenhouse were isolated by H2i Insulation BV. CombiVliet installed the plumbing for the path irrigation and the front walls themselves. The Netafim drip hoses were delivered on time and mounted under the gutter. Ladies from NL Jobs placed the drippers in the rockwool slabs. The gutter slopes are currently being adjusted under the expert guidance of Formflex.
Besides the work in the greenhouse, elsewhere on the Noordvliet grounds CombiVliet is preparing for the arrival of geothermal energy.
In the first energy center a first heat exchanger has already been placed, which will be linked to the existing heating system. Roy van Vliet and Jacobus Dalm have given a lot of thought to this integration, the challenge of course being to return the water as cold as possible. VB Climate is laying the underground pipework, commissioned by ECW.
