US (IL): Good Food Business Accelerator open for applications

The Good Food Business Accelerator gets farm and food businesses ready for prime time, giving them the skills to launch or scale up. Now in its third year, this fellowship program for food and farm entrepreneurs is based at 1871, Chicago’s center of innovation. Fellows are paired with industry-leading mentors and are connected to potential customers and investors. This is the nation’s first business accelerator focused on building supply chains for sustainable local food.

Application
The application will ask you questions concerning your business model, services/products, revenue, current funding, competition, and impact on the Good Food supply chain. You will be asked to submit your business plan and current and past financial statements.

There is a $95 application fee. This entitles every applicant, regardless of acceptance into the program, to admission for one person to the 2017 Good Food Financing & Innovation Conference on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at UIC Forum, 725 W Roosevelt Road, Chicago. An email with additional details about the Conference will be sent to all applicants as the date approaches.

The application is hosted on F6S and you will need a Facebook or LinkedIn account to use the F6S site.
