Acadian Plant Health hires first regional business director in Asia-Pacific

Acadian Plant Health recently announced the hiring of its first Regional Business Director in Asia-Pacific (APAC). Jung Woo joins Acadian to help grow its presence in this strategically important region. Woo brings to Acadian a wealth of experience from working for more than 20 years in numerous executive positions within the agricultural industry.

“Jung is a great addition to the Acadian family,” said President of Acadian Plant Health, Roger Tripathi. “With his deep understanding of what APAC growers need, he will lead the company’s expansion initiatives in this important region. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that Jung was available and could provide Acadian with this opportunity,” added Tripathi.

“I was attracted to Acadian because of its focus on sustainability and improving plant health from farm to fork. I am thrilled to work for an organization that cares about protecting the environment so that growers can keep farming well into the future,” says Woo.

Throughout his time working within the traditional crop protection and plant health industries, Woo has held a number of senior and executive positions in leading multinational organizations. Woo holds a MBA from Indiana University in the United States as well as a M.Sc. and B.A.Sc. from Seoul National University in South Korea. Woo is currently a Ph.D. candidate in International Business at Kyung Hee University in South Korea.
