UK: Gardener grows giant veg

Phillip Vowles, a Welshman, grows supersized vegetables that have been known to weigh in at over 100 pounds. Vowles grows colossal marrows and he notes that even with the swollen size the taste is still the same.

It’s not just massive marrows that Vowles has a knack for growing. He set the Guinness World Record for the heaviest cucumber and he’s been able to grow a cabbage that weighs more than a good chunk of the UFC’s Flyweight division. Even better? Vowles says if he can do it, anyone can do it.
