Canada: Plant Products' Gord and Scott say goodbye to moustache and locks

Plant Products had their Annual sales meeting in Markham Ontario November 12th to 14th, with their Canadian and US divisions. In a spontaneous challenge, Dave Hill, of the commercial division was challenged that if he could raise $1,000 from staff at the sales meeting after the 1st night Gord Jahn, General Manager would shave off his moustache (which has been a permanent fixture on his face for decades) and Scott Horsburgh would part with his locks at the end of the meetings on day 2. The company pledged to match each dollar raised.

With great salesmanship on Dave’s behalf and a good cause, the staff donated well over the challenge and with the matching dollars by Plant Products donated over $3,300 to the Make a Wish Foundation Canada, whose mission is to “grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.”
