Growing Solutions Kenya opens 14 December
Growing Solutions Kenya is a Dutch government sponsored program aiming to support small and medium sized vegetables growers in Kenya. The program is implemented by a consortium of 12 Dutch greenhouse technology providers. At three demo-units at Latia Resource Centre Growing Solutions will demonstrate innovative greenhouse production technology adapted to the local production conditions.

10.10 hrs Introduction to Growing Solutions Kenya by Mr. Harm Maters, chairmain Growing Solutions Kenya.
10.25 hrs Inside in the Growing Solutions Greenhouse technology by Mr. Martin Helmich, Hoogendoorn Growth Management
10.45 hrs Water technical solutions in Growing Solutions by Mr. Joachim Keus, Ridder Drive Systems.
11.00 hrs Building local capacity in greenhouse vegetable production by Mr. Nico de Groot, DLV Plant, project coordinator.
11.15 hrs Official opening by Mr. Bert Rikken, agricultural counsellor,
Royal Netherlands Embassy Nairobi.
11.30-13.00 hrs Tour at the GSK greenhouses units in small groups.
