A second company wants to buy land and build a facility to grow medical marijuana in the city.
Cannatech Medicinal Inc. of Attleboro, wants to buy land in the bio-park and also open a marijuana dispensary in the city, according to Derek Ross, the CEO. “We plan to base our heart and soul in Fall River,” Ross said. “Fall River is our focus.”
Both companies want to build facilities to grow marijuana to be used in licensed medical marijuana dispensaries. Hope, Heal, Health, also wants to process strains of marijuana to produce oils, lotions, baked goods and soft drinks containing the active ingredients of cannabis.
