Van der Valk Systemen will reward an Apple Watch for those who comes up with the best idea for the brand name of their new screen insertion system.
The new system enables faster and cleaner screen insertion, and gives the grower more flexibility in his/her choice of screen and installer. Its benefits include the lack of screen clips, the possibility of carrying out screen insertion just before planting the crop, and the guide strips that Van der Valk pre-mounts on the screen.

“The response has been amazing, both to the campaign and to the system itself,” according to Arno van Deursen, managing director of Van der Valk Systemen. The deadline for entries is December 11. The inventor of the winning name will be informed by December 18 at the latest. Arno confirmed, “We shall carefully review every entry. I have already seen some great names among them, but the final choice has not yet been made!”
