Indoor Ag-Con Asia to discuss CEA opportunities in tropical environments

After organizing successful editions in Las Vegas and New York (photos), Indoor Ag-Con will be hosting its first event in Asia on January 18-19, 2016 to discuss the prospects for this tech-rich industry in the region. The two-day seminar is tailored toward corporate executives from the technology, investment, vertical and greenhouse farming, and food and beverage industries, along with hydroponic, aquaponic and aeroponic startups and urban farmers. Participants will also have the opportunity to network at a drinks party on the first evening.

The two day event will be hosted at the Microsoft's campus in Marina Bay, Singapore.

Agenda & Speakers

The event will consist of keynotes from industry leaders and academics, panel discussions and extended networking breaks. The first day of the event will be co-hosted with The Foundation for the Development of Controlled Environment Agriculture, a non-profit entity devoted to academic advancements in the industry. The second day will focus on commercial aspects of the industry.

Day One: Controlled Environment Agriculture growing in a tropical environment

Day one focuses on the technical and academic aspects of the industry, with presentations from leading academics in the field.


Day Two: Managing a controlled environment agriculture business

Day two focuses on the business aspects of managing a controlled environment agriculture business, including decisions around growing systems, automation, technology and funding.
