The supply from Central Europe continues to decrease. Together with the German and Dutch supply there were also Belgian supplies. It was clear that certain products sold less and less. The importance of Spanish supply increased steadily.

Cucumbers from Greece exclusively appeared in Munich. As a result of crop failure due to the rain, the supply couldn’t completely fulfil the demand. This caused the prices, mostly the prices for the batches of Spanish cucumbers, to increase. This increase didn’t diminish the demand. In Frankfurt the price for the Spanish produce wasn’t increased to speed up the trade. In Cologne the Dutch and Belgian produce became more expensive as the German products weren’t available during the week.

Snack cucumbers from the Netherlands, Germany and Turkey sold quickly. Their prices barely changed, in some places the offer induced a small increase in the price.
