Reuters.com reports that Canadian greenhouse grower Mastronardi Produce is exploring potential sale-sources. The article suggests that the company is seeking a potential buyer that values the business at as much as $900 million.
"Privately-held Mastronardi has hired Bank of Montreal (BMO) to run an auction process, asking not to be identified because the matter is confidential," it was written in the article.
According to a spokesperson of Mastronardi, the company only wanted an estimate of the value of the company, and is not directly thinking about selling a part of the enterprise. The company wants to share its potential value with investors in order to further increase business.
