The Les Serres Royales company in the Canadian suburb of Saint Jerome in Quebec was established in 1995. The company is owned by the Lemieux family. Initially, they started out cultivating pink tomatoes. Today they have their own brands, The Queen, The Diva and The Majesty, red, yellow and orange cherry tomatoes that are tested for their delicious taste and excellent quality.
Until now Les Serres Royales has used polytunnels. This new KUBO customer has now purchased glass greenhouses, the heating system is being considerably renewed and they are investing in a new logistics system. A major modernisation! The project of approximately 3 ha was sold by KUBO’s agent in Quebec, Marc Croteau from Hort-Dist Inc. The customer would like half of the greenhouses to be ready for winter planting. The other half will be constructed in 2016.
