Last week, the jury selected Wouter Kuiper of KUBO as a finalist in the Dutch Haaglanden Entrepreneur Awards. Of the 7 nominated companies, 4 made it through to the finals, including Wouter Kuiper of KUBO.
About Wouter Kuiper
Wouter is the third generation in this family business and has been the managing director and major shareholder of the KUBO Group for over 12 years.
KUBO is driven by the thought that it must be possible to realise greater output with far fewer inputs, such as energy, raw materials and water. In this respect, KUBO searches for solutions that enable entrepreneurs throughout the world to produce for their own market (local for local). For this purpose, KUBO develops greenhouses that break with existing conventions and that are revolutionary in concept and implementation. An example of this is the Ultra-Clima® greenhouse.
This now proven concept satisfies all of today’s requirements: higher production, maximum food safety, year-round high quality products, minimal energy consumption, optimal water consumption, minimal CO2 emissions and, not insignificantly, a better return.
With the Ultra-Clima®, KUBO has provided a revolutionary and now proven sustainable greenhouse concept.
The company launched ClimaConnect last January. ClimaConnect’s mission is to secure and optimise the client’s profitability. It anticipates the demand for total solutions and, together with KUBO, takes the next step towards making production more sustainable.
