US: Burger King gives away Whoppers in exchange for fresh tomatoes
Burger King have always been good at marketing, and their latest campaign aims to prove that burgers do contain fresh vegetables (tomatoes and salad): “Our fresh tomatoes are in our burgers. Not in our adverts.” Burger King will hand out fresh tomatoes on the streets near their restaurants which can be swapped for a Junior Whopper. The tomatoes are being handed out this week at la Défense from the 22nd to the 25th September (between 11.30am-3pm).
