"US: Atlas Greenhouse to award scholarships to "Educator" users"

Who doesn’t love a little extra with your greenhouse purchase? At Atlas Greenhouse, they believe the future of horticulture lies in our youth, and they want to “sow” into the future leaders of the industry with their Horticulture Scholarship.

The purpose of the scholarship is to award $1,500 each to three high school seniors who have demonstrated a passion for horticulture, whether it be in ornamental production, vegetable production, or landscape, and who have a desire to further their education in horticulture. To be eligible, the senior must be nominated by his/her horticulture teacher and attend a high school that has purchased an Atlas “Educator” greenhouse between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015.

Parker Ward, of Hixson High School in Tennessee, was a recipient of the Atlas Greenhouse Horticulture Scholarship in 2015. He is pictured here (right) with his Ag Science Teacher, Lee Friedlander.

The “Educator” has quickly become the most popular greenhouse used in middle and high schools across the nation. It offers the perfect teaching and learning environment for horticulture and FFA classes and with its customizable design, we can build the perfect “Educator” greenhouse to fit your classroom needs.

If you have purchased an “Educator” greenhouse and would like to know more about how to nominate a senior for the horticulture scholarship or would like additional information about our “Educator” series, please visit the Atlas Greenhouse website at atlasgreenhouse.com, e-mail [email protected] or call 1.800.346.99021.800.346.9902.
