A report released last Friday by the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation reveals that a total of 532 tonnes of vegetables and 708 tonnes of fruit were exported last week.
The document also points out that there has been a remarkable increase in agricultural exports and imports in 2015, with a total of 910,026 tonnes of vegetables and 1,267,032 tonnes of fruit shipped so far this year.
The report added that the total export volume of potatoes, citrus fruits, strawberries and grapes so far this season stands at 2,129,275 tonnes.
