In late 2016, Max MacGillivray (Managing Director of Redfox) and Neil MacDonald (Director of the Orchard Pig Company and a current Nuffield Scholar) are travelling by motorbike from London to Cape Town. This is with the expressed aim of visiting key Farming and Fresh Produce Growers in Africa. They are looking to film and report on how great produce is grown so they can educate and inform children internationally as well as their schools and their families on healthy fresh produce and all of the people behind it. They will also be raising money for the leading African facing Charity – Farm Africa.
They are currently looking to source contacts for inspiring growers in Africa they can visit and film. They are also looking for key retailers/food suppliers plus media groups to become involved to help raise the publicity and the healthy eating aims of the trip. If you can help with their requests and to be part of this exciting journey to explore the amazing world of Fresh Produce and Farming in Africa, Max and Neil would be very keen to hear from you!
