Good Agricultural Practices handbook available

University of Nevada Cooperative Extension has released Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Handling Practices: Risk Mitigation in Edible Horticultural Production Systems. The 152-page publication, available online in PDF, is divided into 14 modules. These include an exploration of food safety risks, hazard analysis, animal exclusion, water use, worker health and hygiene, handling, traceability, and the economics of food safety. Each module includes a summary of key points.
