UK: New RHI tariff good news for medium sized biomass
DECC have announced the latest tariff changes for the Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), and those concerned that there would be a fall in the medium sized biomass (>200kW <1MW) can breathe a sigh of relief.
The rate changes affect small biomass (<200kW) with a 5% reduction and biomethane injection with a 10% reduction and will be effective from 01 October 2015.
