Roly Holt discusses GreenPower LED interlighting in new Philips video:
UK: No soil, no substrates at R&L Holt
UK tomato grower Roly Holt was featured in the new Philips video. In the video, Roly shares his experience of the GreenPower LED interlighting that they are using inside their tomato nursery. What makes their greenhouse so special is that they are growing a commercial glasshouse crop without the use of any substrates or soil; R&L Holt is the only tomato grower that grows a large scale crop with the help of a NFT system.
Roly Holt on the Philips GreenPower LED Interlighting; "All the plants can be lit at the points where they gain the most benefit. Various trials have demonstrated that this enables much higher and more efficient plant production as the light provided can be converted more efficiently into sugars, the building blocks of the plant."
