Canada (AB): How to Put on a Farm-to-Table Culinary Event

The How to Put on a Farm-to-Table Culinary Event - Bus Tour for Producers takes place on September 15, 2015, from Sherwood Park. “Are you a local food producer that would like to learn more about how to put on a farm-to-table culinary event, and how that could fit into your farm direct marketing business?” asks organizer Colin Gosselin. “Are you interested in learning more about attracting visitors to your farm and hosting them through events and experiences like Open Farm Days? If so, please join us for this bus tour featuring peer to peer discussion, networking, learning, and a demonstration dinner where you will be fed!”

The tour will be stopping at the Barr Estate Winery, Irvings Farm Fresh and Nature’s Green Acres (featuring chef Blair Lebsack from RGE RD restaurant). The tour runs from 12:30 -8:30 p.m.

Cost for the tour is $25 per person (plus GST) and includes transportation and supper. To register, call 1-800-387-6030 FREE by September 8, 2015. For more information, call Colin Gosselin at 780-968-3518.
