From the 16th to the 18th of February 2016, the Dutch city of Gorinchem will be the centre of the entire horticulture branch. The Horticulture Business Days (Tuinbouw Relatiedagen) has grown into the largest Dutch trade fair for the horticulture sector.
Evenementenhal, the organiser, has come to realise that the trade fair has gained in popularity even across the Dutch borders. Foreign visitors and exhibitors found their way to Gorinchem for the past trade fair editions. This trade fair has become something not to be missed for all growers in the vegetable and ornamental plant sector because of its comprehensive and complete range of products and services.
The growing international interest can be seen in the number of exhibitors that have signed up so far. For the upcoming edition of Horticulture Business Days Gorinchem, 380 exhibitors from ten different countries are signed up currently. ‘We are proud to see all the international interest in the Horticulture Business Days. We are a small country, but we are leading in the horticulture sector. Our platform offers various initiatives to connect Dutch horticulture to the rest of the world. An example is the HortiDaily High Tech Greenhouse Tour, taking entrepreneurs on a tour along the various innovative horticulture companies,’ says Ramon Schlepers, organiser of the Horticulture Relation Days.
This year, the organisation will do its utmost again to keep up the high service level. Visitors and exhibitors need not worry about any peripheral matters. They can concentrate on what they came to do in Gorinchem: do business and exchange know-how in a comfortable environment.
