UK: Grow, nurture & protect seminars at Four Oaks

A series of three half hour technical seminars – Grow, Nurture and Protect – are being hosted by ICL (formerly Everris) at the Four Oaks Trade Show to update growers on the latest advances in professional growing media, precision nutrition and plant protection.

The ‘Grow’ seminars will focus on the latest improvements to the rebranded ‘Levington Advance’ growing media portfolio, including the unveiling of a new peat free range ‘Levington Advance Sustain’.

ICL’s technical managers, Dr Jim Smith and Andrew Wilson, will introduce the latest technical improvements to the ‘Levington Advance’ range designed to further improve return on investment. For growers preferring a custom mix, they will discuss ICL’s new complete solutions package ‘Levington Advance Solutions’.

Led by Andrew Wilson, the ‘Nurture’ seminars will explore the latest trends and developments in controlled release and water soluble fertilizers, including additions to the popular Universol range to suit all water types.

At the ‘Protect’ seminars, Dr Colin Mumford of Bayer CropScience will join Andrew Wilson to discuss the importance of season long vine weevil control and recent label changes to Exemptor. Another highlight will be the unveiling of the new systemic multi-site fungicide ‘Avatar’, set to aid the fight against Downy Mildew and other oomycete diseases in ornamental crops grown under protected or outside.
ICL is hosting the seminars on both days at the Show - visit the ICL (stand B31) for further details. Attendees will qualify for BASIS points.
