Fruit terminal Sète for sale

The fruit terminal in Sète is officially in a “liquidation process”. This terminal started its operation in 2011 with the group Orsero. The port of Sète has been booming with 30,000 TEUS handled and 40,000 pallets/year. The liquidating person in charge of the file is located in Montpellier, Mr Luc Marion.

It is a very modern facility and well located between Saint Charles Market (100km) and Cavaillon (100km) and will be connected by rail to Paris by the end of the year.
The terminal has the following characteristics that cost the former owner Orsero 20 M Euro:
  • Warehouse of 23,200 m2 under controlled temp;
  • Total storage capacity 15,000 pallets;
  • 02 large cool controlled saloon(1 x 9800 m2 with 03 temp,1x7300 m2 with 01 temp);
  • 10 cool controlled rooms 5 X 300m2 5 X 555m2 (9-0/14°+ 1-25°);
  • 01 cool controlled corridor with 01 temp 1480m2;
  • 27 doors for containers stripping/stuffing, with plugs;
  • 33 doors for discharging/loading trucks;
  • 120 reefer plugs on the container yard behind;
  • IT Port community system AP+;
  • Rail connection;
  • Barge connection.

The port has a Border Inspection point able to control all phyto and vegetables products and deployed since 1st January a cargo community system AP+ to speed up the customs formalities.

Sète can be an alternative to the fruit terminal in Northern Europe, and can be a good deal. Good location, no congestion, deep water port, swift phyto controls and social peace. 5 good assets to interest someone.
