FiLo Stacker of Van Zaal catches the attention at IFTF

The Filo Stacker installation attracts a lot of attention at the IFTF. Product leaflets fly like hot buns off the shelves at the Bosman Van Zaal booth. Good, because the FiLo Stacker is a multi-layer growing system with multiple levels of containers. In the FiLo Stacker, containers are stacked above each other and spaced apart by means of a special mechanical construction.

Specific air, water and light installations keep the climate optimal in the FiLo Stacker for a specific duration of a growing phase. With the help of an Overhead System the containers can be placed or removed from above.

Of course the optional LED lights make it even more interesting. Lower power consumption generates less heat; thus this lighting can be located closer above the plants. The vertical distance between the containers becomes less, so more growing surface per m2 is available. LED lights can be specifically implemented for root and leaf growth, which result in good quality cuttings or seedlings with better roots and leaves, this is reflected in the further growing process of the crop.
