US: Brian Ahrens Joins Marrone Bio Innovations as Vice President of Sales

Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. (MBI), (NASDAQ: MBII), a leading provider of bio-based pest management and plant health products for the Brian Ahrens smallagriculture, turf and ornamental and water treatment markets, today announced that Brian Ahrens has joined the company as its Vice President of Sales. In this role, Ahrens will be responsible for driving U.S. and international sales of MBI’s portfolio of products to growers through distributors and retailers of agriculture products.

A veteran of the agriculture industry with 20 years of business and industry experience, Ahrens joins MBI from ADAMA Agriculture Solutions (formerly Mahkteshium Agan – MANA) where he served as Strategic Business Leader, Innovation Leader, Northern Regional Business Manager and Senior Product Manager. Prior to his time at ADAMA, Ahrens held multiple positions with BASF Corporation, Bayer CropScience, Aventis CropScience and Rhône-Poulenc Ag Company. Ahrens has a B.S. in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University, with a concentration in marketing and sales.
