Greenhouse complex Belorechensky is to invest 953.8 million rubles (20 million Euro) in the expansion of greenhouses for growing cucumbers and lettuce. Moreover, the company is to create its own power plant. The project is considered to be lucrative.
The driving force behind the project is a Russian company AGROTIP, which deals with design and construction of advanced greenhouses and provides technological support and maintenance for projects.
The first milestone of the complex is scheduled for commission in summer 2015: by this time the complex is planned to produce 4.81 MT of fresh vegetables per year.
This is only the first stage, the ultimate goal is an advanced greenhouse complex with total area of 15.3 hectares, - says Sergey Dyakov, General Director of Belorechensky. By 2017, the production output of cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce is to amount to 9100 MT per year, and the total investment will reach 1.5 billion rubles (30 million Euro).
About 50% of the production is intended to satisfy the inner needs of the Krasnodar region, while the rest is to be distributed in other regions.
We have already signed preliminary contracts to supply our production to major customers in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, - Sergey Dyakov adds.
