Victory Garden Connection promoting career option awareness among students

Victory Garden Connection, LLC, a new hub connecting agricultural professionals and businesses with land opportunities across the United States, has announced it is reaching out to community colleges across the country to raise awareness among students of the more than 200 horticulture and agriculture career options.

There are a projected 58,000 annual job openings for US food and agricultural sciences graduates and an estimated 22 million people working in more than 200 agriculture related fields. The national database at www.VictoryGardenConnection.org is a new, simple, efficient way for trained students, agriculture professionals, master gardeners and related businesses to register their services and jumpstart their business based on location.

The searchable database allows users to register their business and services based on zip code—making it easy to be located by potential customers and allowing businesses to offer their services more often close to home.
