Russian-Kazakh agricultural collaboration

Russian city of Sverdlovsk and Republic of Kazakhstan have agreed to build collaborative enterprises of agricultural production, - reports ITAR-TASS with reference to the Trade Representative of Kazakhstan in Russia – Alexander Tsygankov.

It is confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Economic and International Relations that Zhambyl region is to supply Sverdlovsk with melons, South Kazakhstan – with fruit and vegetables, Kostanay – with grain, meat and dairy products, - kommersant.ru informs.

According to the Mayor of Kostanai – Nurala Saduakasov – there is an opportunity for the Ural region to organize construction of small greenhouses affordable for Kazakh farms and gardens. This is intended to reduce the price of greenhouse products.
