GreenTech presentation by Stuart Lambie of Grodan

What is sustainable greenhouse production?

The Life cycle analysis (LCA) is used to help identify those areas of the value chain where the greatest environmental impacts occur. The same analyses tool can also reveal the impact areas of greatest importance in greenhouse crop production, helping to highlight attention areas for knowledge development and product innovation.

In this session Stuart will focus on the impact areas of most interest in the production of hydroponic greenhouse cropping and show the progress which can be made in reducing environmental impacts through reductions in the use of energy, water and fertilisers.
