LumiGrow, the market and technology leader in networked LED crop lighting, today announced that it is expanding its payment plan for commercial growers and agribusinesses. The expanded program provides more options for greenhouse operators including zero-down plans and varied term lengths.
A LumiGrow payment plan makes the LumiGrow LED lighting solution more costeffective than traditional high intensity discharge (HID) fixtures right from the start. In a typical scenario, a grower lighting an acre of greenhouse space will achieve USD 550K in five-year savings with LumiGrow LED lights versus HID fixtures. Additionally, the grower will be cash-flow positive within the first year as average monthly savings achieved with LumiGrow LED lights are more than double the monthly payment amount.
Purchasing LumiGrow LED lighting with a payment plan allows businesses to keep working capital on hand while obtaining LED equipment at a lower price point. A payment plan is an especially smart option for LumiGrow LED systems because maintenance and electrical bill savings offset and often exceed monthly payments.
“A lower upfront cost was the last remaining argument for considering HID lights,” said Kevin Wells, CEO, LumiGrow. He added, “The LumiGrow payment plan makes LED lights more affordable from day one.”
