'An Invitation to Innovation', 24 - 25 September 2014

TGA Conference to cover technical, retail, commercial and legislative issues

The programme for the 2014 TGA Conference (September 24th and 25th 2014) is now almost complete. Our new venue (Chesford Grange Conference centre in Warwick) is an excellent facility which I am sure delegates will enjoy.

The Conference committee have been meeting every couple of weeks over the past few months and have now developed a conference agenda which looks towards an optimistic future for our industry.

The day before the main conference we have a half day seminar discussing energy efficiencies and cost saving in glasshouse production systems. The event will be presented by FEC and is an absolute must for all tomato growers as well as other protected crop producers.

The evening before the conference we have our annual TGA Dinner to launch the main conference and a chance to catch up with friends, fellow growers and of course suppliers.

Our main conference title is ‘An Invitation to Innovation’ covering technical as well as retail, commercial and legislative issues. Something for everyone and very much thinking about the future we have, this year, invited several HDC studentships to present their research findings in the main conference supplemented by a poster session for you to discuss with the students during free-time. All this and a wealth of fantastic trade stands makes the 2014 conference, more than ever, one not to miss.

For more information take a look at the conference page of the TGA Web site over the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you need any more information, please contact the TGA office and we will be happy to help.
