As a particular highlight for experts and decision takers in the green sector, IPM Dubai 2014 will this year offer a more comprehensive programme of lectures integrated into the happenings at the fair. It will deal with three selected aspects exactly tailored to the market conditions and demand structures in the booming Gulf region. There, the market for plants, cut flowers, horticulture and landscaping has picked up speed once again since 2012.
The first day of the fair will bear the motto of horticulture and landscaping. In this respect, experts will provide interesting insights into particular requirements of local projects in various orders of magnitude. Horticultural production and technology will form the main focal point on the second day of the fair. On this subject, it was possible to win over a competent partner in Interessenvertretung der deutschen Industrie für den Gartenbau (INDEGA - "Association Representing the Interests of the German Horticultural Industry"). On the third day of the fair, the programme of lectures will focus on bridal bouquets and wedding floristry. The stage presentation will supplement the IPM Dubai Floristry Award which will be handed over on the same day. On all the days, not only an expert jury but also the visitors will have the possibility of casting their votes.
The IPM Dubai International Plants Expo Middle East is one of IPM ESSEN's four satellite fairs abroad and will take place in Halls 7 and 8 in the Dubai World Trade Centre on November 9 - 11, 2014. It will encompass the following exhibition sections: Plants, Horticultural Technology, Floristry, Sales Promotion, Plant Care and Logistics.
Every year, WOP Dubai, the International Perishables Expo Middle East, takes place parallel to IPM Dubai. At the only trade fair in the sector anywhere in the Middle East, exhibitors experience a high demand for fresh fruit and vegetables and the relevant, urgently needed technology for the entire value added chain. The visitors and the ranges on offer at both fairs complement each other in an optimum way.
IPM ESSEN which will take place at Messe Essen on January 27 - 30, 2015 has the following foreign offshoots: Floratech IPM India in Bangalore on August 22 - 24, 2014, Flowers IPM in Moscow on August 27 - 29, 2014 as well as Hortiflorexpo IPM in Shanghai on April 22 - 24, 2015.
