"The product is special, that's for sure. We managed to get a tomato that can be exceptionally sweet, sometimes above 12 º Brix. In addition, we've packaged it in a very neat and elegant presentation, in line with the product itself," notes Pedro Caparros, Manager of Caparros Nature.
"It has a very intense red colour and the fruit is shaped like a pear, but most importantly, its flavour is sweet, explosive, juicy and tasty. Quite a gourmet experience for the most discerning palates that expect a very intense flavour from a tomato," he added.
Caparros Nature will begin marketing this product next year, around October, when the fruit is at its best.
The company, founded in 1984 in Almeria, sells vegetables and watermelon in Spain and in the main European markets.
