Flowers Canada Growers calls for participants for the Supervisory Training Survey

Dr. Sara Mann from the University of Guelph and Dr. Marie-Helene Budworth from York University, in collaboration with Ken Linington, are conducting a study examining the effectiveness of Supervisory Training in the Agri-Food industry.

The first step in this project is to collect data on the needs of the industry (to help answer the question of what Supervisory skills we need to train for). Flowers Canada Growers would greatly appreciate your co-operation in clicking on the link below and completing the survey. It shouldn’t take any longer than 10 minutes to complete. If you complete the survey, you will have access to the results and will have the opportunity to participate in the second part of the study below. Please note the information will be kept completely confidential and we will not be releasing any identifying characteristics—they will only be presenting summary data.

To access and complete the survey go to the following website: https://surveys.ccs.uoguelph.ca/limeSurvey/index.php?sid=53283&lang=en

Within the survey, it asks you if you would like to participate in the second part of the study. The second part of the project will involve us delivering supervisory training at no cost to the participants in various formats (online, on-the-farm, and in the classroom) and then examining the effectiveness of the various methods. If you choose to participate in the second part of the study, Flowers Canada Growers will contact you within a month.
