"Dutch supply has finished and Spanish supply is minimal"
ERP suppliers of Israeli yellow courgette once again.
ForEurope Retail Packing (ERP), it is once again the start of the Israeli courgette season. "Last year, by the end of November, there were no more Dutch yellow courgettes, so this year we started earlier, and it has worked out well," explained Raymond van der Burgh. "Dutch supply has finished and Spanish supply is minimal, so prices are hanging."
"This year we are seeing lovely quality as our supplier has grown a special variety. This variety has a longer shelf life which is beneficial for overseas export," explained Raymond. "Due to the lovely weather in Israel, courgettes are in full production. We are expecting good supply as the grower has spread the cultivation well."
