The 6th edition of FRUIT ATTRACTION, the International Fair for the Fruit and Vegetables Sector, will take place between 8 and 10 October 2014 in Madrid maintaining the standards established five years ago. The goal is for FRUIT ATTRACTION to consolidate as a great place for business and meeting point for the horticultural industry.
The date for the next edition has been agreed by FEPEX and IFEMA, taking also into account the results of a survey by visitors and exhibitors, who consider October an ideal month for the various promotional campaigns. FEPEX and IFEMA have also agreed to continue collaborating in the organisation of the event.
Last year, the fair was attended by 35,000 professionals from 83 countries, which was a 25% increase compared to the previous edition. The event also registered a 13% growth in entrepreneurial participation with the presence of 674 exhibitors from 16 countries. These results are a testament to the sector's commitment to boost FRUIT ATTRACTION as a business tool and meeting point for the fruit and vegetable industry.
