Spanish tomatoes play no part in German markets

The Benelux are still fully able to deliver vine tomatoes to Germany. German special products are currently available in sufficient quantities to provide German food chains. Import from the Iberian Peninsula therefore plays no major role, according to estimates by the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI)

German wholesalers have some small quantities available from Spain, but these are only marketable through price concessions. The situation isn’t likely to change any time soon, as the Benelux supply is still more than adequate to meet regular consumer demands.
