Kyrgyzstan to build greenhouses with Korean technologies

More greenhouse with Korean technique will be build in the Sokuluk district of Kyrgyzstan. That was stated by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kyrgyzstan Kim Chang Gyu last week at the country's 2nd National Organic Forum. According to him, earlier on the Korean Embassy rendered support to the public community of Koreans in organization of greenhouse facilities. “We will construct 3 additional greenhouses and expand the area in 2013. We faced some technical difficulties in the experimental production start-up in 2012, but we are going to continue the project’s implementation,” Kim Chang Gyu stated.

In the spring of 2013 the Kyrgyz Vice Prime Minister Taiyrbek Sarpashev stated that farmers from southern regions are interested in growing of vegetables in greenhouses using Korean technology in the Sokuluk district. "Together with the support of the Korean Embassy, Korean businessmen are ready to start implementation of the project on providing 200 greenhouses on a lease,” an official said.
