Grodan supports Precision Growing in Taiwan

The Grodan group recently formed a partnership with Changhua Tianwei Horticulture Production Cooperative and thus confirms its willingness to support the introduction of Precision Growing in the new horticultural training center in Changhua (Taiwan).

The training is an investment project of 33 Taiwanese growers and consists of two high-tech greenhouses with an area of about 3 hectares. Other suppliers of the latest technology for greenhouses are Priva, Codema, Rijk Zwaan, Koppert Biological Systems, GreenQ and van der Knaap.

Hub Janssen, Managing Director of Grodan, and CEO Hsiao-Che Lin of Changhua Tianwei Horticulture Production Cooperative recently signed an agreement to underline their Precision Growing Partnership. The Grodan Group will provide the cooperative with the best substrate solutions and the corresponding tools for applying Precision Growing techniques in greenhouse vegetables production. "With this agreement, we affirm our support in the form of our knowledge and the latest innovations to ensure optimum results in the production of vegetables," explains Hub Janssen.

CEO Hsiao-Che Lin concludes: "In order to establish a successful training you need to work with the leaders in the market. In the field of hydroponic cultivation, the Grodan Group proved to be a leader. We are convinced that they can lift the education of our students to a higher level and help us achieve the best possible results.”
