Raymond Vos and Leon Overkleeft of greenhouse construction company Vos & Overkleeft from Naaldwijk, and winners of the Van der Ende World Cup Greenhouse Constructing 2012, are the mascots for the championship in 2013. Their image will be used in promotion relating to the event, which takes place November 23 at the ABC Westland site in Poeldijk, The Netherlands

The Van der Ende WK KassieBouwen (‘Greenhouse Building’) is an activity of de Zaaier Foundation, a Westland charity for over 26 years now. It uses its knowledge of the agricultural sector, specific equipment and financial resources, to focus on the development of rural areas in Congo. Primary help is provided by funding and starting agricultural projects in cooperation with the local population.
With the proceeds of the Van der Ende WK KassieBouwen 2013, the foundation plans to fund some new projects in Congo. This year’s charity will soon be announced.
