Koppert presents new multifunctional dosage pot for Mini-Airbug

Koppert has developed a new multifunctional dosage pot for the Mini-Airbug.The Mini-Airbug is used by many growers to achieve controlled distribution of predatory mites or food sources over the entire crop, or for the control of local hot-spots. The dosage pot has an adjustable interior ring. The size of the holes can be adjusted by using a screwdriver (included as standard). This makes it possible to use the same pot to distribute both various food sources (like Entofood or Artefeed) and predatory mites. An indication strip is affixed to the bottom of the pot, and a dosage table is also included to aid in use.

The Mini-Airbug can be used to achieve controlled distribution of predatory mites or food sources over the entire crop up to a distance of 1.5-2 meters, or for the control of local hot-spots. In the near future the Mini-Airbug will come in a new case. For current users a separate kit is available. Ask your Koppert contact or distributor.

Advantages of the Mini-Airbug:

  • Natural enemies are distributed over the crop very evenly, increasing the effectiveness of pest control.
  • In a single work session, different combinations of natural enemies can be released, such as thrips, mite and whitefly. This reduces the labour required by 80%.
  • Very little variation in distribution, even when released by different people.
  • Suitable for use in all crops.
  • Flexible and simple to use.
